Roy, you were an absolute joy to watch every time you took the mound. Having you as a Jay made me feel like the luckiest fan in the world, and I will miss you terribly. I hope you win a WS and a Cy Young and that you get every accolade you so richly deserve. If you going to Philly means you get these things, then I can stand losing you. Go get ‘em, and know we’re all still behind you.
Roy… You’re all class, all the time and the best pitcher in the Majors.
Best of luck in Philly, can’t wait to see you win it all!
You will be missed in T.O.
Welcome to Philadelphia. You will get booed at some point during your stay in Philadelphia. Don’t worry because I think Jesus would get booed here if he played in this town
Roy, you were my favorite player when you were with my favorite team, the Toronto Blue Jays. And now that you are a Philly, you will remain my favorite player because of the class, hard work, and dedication that you have shown throughout your time in Toronto and now in Philadelphia. Congratulations and good luck! You deserve a championship, and I will now be rooting for Philly all the way to a World Series Championship (unless they meet the Jays of course)!
The respect, love & admiration I have for Roy Halladay is immeasurable. I look forward to seeing him win rings in Phillie. He deserves them. Thank you for everything, Roy.
Roy,
Your consistent effort and determination are an inspiration to all sports fans. Philadelphia is now my second favourite team.
Congratulations Roy.
All the best in Philly. The NL isn’t gonna know what hit them.
Toronto and the Jays thank you.
Thank you for making every fifth game a must see event for most of the decade. You will be missed in Toronto, and good luck with the Phillies.
Doc, welcome to Das Cradle. If I believed in having children I would name my firstborn Roy
It was always the most exciting games to go to knowing you would be on the mound.
I wish you nothing but the best and hope you can win a World Series in Philly.
There will never be another Roy Halladay
No one can ever replace Doc
Thanks Roy,

…last August and the sentiments still hold true. Roy, you’ve given us a reason to have pride in our team and represented our city with class. Thanks for everything and best of luck.
Good Luck Roy. All the best for 2010. I hope you get your World Series Ring. No one deserves one more than you.
Toronto loves you.
Doc: A Blue Jay forever. The greatest to ever wear the uni.
Roy, the first game of the season won’t be the same without you throwing for the Jays.
Best of Luck in Philly and come back here after you win a couple World Series and win another one for us.
Ill name my first born either Roy or Brandy….
You will always be a legend in Toronto. Wish you nothing but success and worled series titles in Philly. You’ll still be sporting a jays cap when you make it into the HOF!
I feel really lucky to have had the privilege to watch you pitch over the years for my favourite ball club. And even though you don’t pitch for the Jays anymore, I’m still rooting for you all the way. Thanks for everything you’ve done for us and our ball club, and I hope you go out and get that ring. Just don’t forget about your old fans.
Good luck Roy!
I think I may puke in my mouth a little when I see you in red and white when you play in June…. but I am sure I will be able to hold it down hahaha. thanks for the good time and all the best…. see you in the WS when you play against the Jays

Best of luck Roy. I will always wear my #32 Jays jersey with pride. You are the best pitcher in the world, and the greatest Blue Jay ever. Watching you pitch is one of my favorite sports memories.
My only hope is that Toronto is a much improved team the next time you hit free-agency. We would welcome you back with open arms. I hope you play 10 or more years, get some rings and a few more Cy’s.
