Well I have no idea if You’ll ever read this but I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the years you’ve given to the Blue Jays. You are certainly the classiest guy to ever wear the uniform and arguably the greatest player in franchise history.

I’ll still follow you and i’m going to be a huge fan of the Phillies for as long as you’re there.

I’ve been blessed to see Roy pitch in person and the crowds are much, much different. You have people putting their plans on hold and decide that they’re going to buy a ticket to see a once in a life time pitcher do his job. Not many players have that power. In the next 15-20 years, I will enjoy telling the younger generation that I saw Doc at his best. Best of luck to you with the Phillies.
