—Blue Jays fans in Toronto and around the world

Thanks Roy, it has been a great journey I wish you all the best. A class act in a proffession (pro sports) where very few are left.

—Edmonton

Thank you for the memories!

—Fan, Edmonton

I’m happy to say I got to see you pitch for the Blue Jays this past summer. Had to Drive 30 hours one way… but it was worth the gas money!
Go Get that RING!!
Thanks!

—A.J. Keller, Wilkie SK.

I’ll miss going down to watch you pitch. Those were the only games I took the time to drive down to see live. You are the best pitcher in the league and you deserve a championship!! Good luck in Philly and Thanks for the great memories in Toronto!

—Jon, Guelph, On.

You are the only reason why I proud to be a Blue Jay fan because the only few good things I can talk about the BJ is that the best pitcher in MLB pitched in TO.

Also, your early struggle and hard working attitude made a great inspiration on my personal life during my down and challenging period of my life and I can always look up to you for success and inspiration. Whenever I felt life put me down in the ground in every possible ways, your work ethics and attitude brought me up and inspired me to fight each of these challenges one by one with all I got and to show them I exist in this world for a reason : just like you fan out batters with your best effort regardless the outcome because this is what we should do in life.

Once again, which I had said more than 1000x times: Thank You. I support your move and TO fan will understand and support you till retirement.

—JC, Mississauga

Great Example for Kids! This guy is class act all the way! Wish him all the best and will be cheering for the Blue Jays and The Phillies this year. Hopefully DOC wins his World Series Ring and hopefully he goes into the hall of fame as a JAY!

It was a great pleasure watching you perform for the Jays over the years. Even out West, in Alberta, you are appreciated for all that you gave to the game and to Canada’s team. I wish you all the best and will be pulling for you with the Phillies.

—Dean, Innisfail

Class act, from all Torontonians we thank you for not only your dedication to this city and our ball club, but being so humble about it and giving us solid efforts day in and out whenever you stepped on the mound. Much respect.

It’s not going to be the same. Going down to the ballpark, and not seeing you in the line up any more.

Thanks Roy,
For the complete game shutouts
For the humility
For the rare displays of emotion
For never giving up on this team and this city
For playing the game the right way
I only ask for one more thing- that you beat the F*%@ing Yankees in the World Series!!!!

It’s been a pleasure to watch on a daily basis!

—Bishop's Falls

This guy is simply the best pitcher the Jay have ever had. If he was on a better team the last 15yrs he would be going to the Hall of Fame in Coppers Town for sure. I think he desevres to be there some day.

Mr.Doc you are simply the best.

—Paul, Val'dor

Very few things got me more excited over the past several years than watching Roy take the mound on Opening Day. Class Act all the way. You’re loved and will be missed. I cannot wait to watch you play some October ball and hopefully get the ring you deserve.

—Brent in Winnipeg

It’s not going to be the same watching the Jays this summer without seeing a gem thrown by Doc. You’re a class act Mr. Halladay, and I wish you all the best in Philly. Get yourself a much deserved World Series Ring!

—Alex, Ottawa

Thank you for the memories. It has been pure pleasure to watch you pitch. Best of luck with your new team. Everybody in Toronto will be pulling for the phillies to get back to the show next year.

—Mark, Toronto

thanks Roy

We have been honored and blessed to been able to call you our own for so long. You are the best pitcher to ever wear the blue jays colours. You are a role model for not only the kids but anyone that strives to be a good human being

Good luck, hope you win it all
We will celebrate up here like it was the Jays themselves that won it

—Aaron, BC

It has been an honour to see you pitch every 5 days. Wishing Doc and the Phillies good luck for the next 4 years.
