Thanks for being with the Jays that ad in the paper was very touching. You deserve a ring. I wished it would have be with the Jays. But you will get it in Phillie. If you can try to come back to the jays to finish your career. Anyway hopefully we will get to see you start in the interleague game vs the Jays. Then you will get a great goodbye. Roy, in my eyes you are the greatest athlete to ever play for any Toronto sports team. Your efforts on the field and within the community make you the perfect role model for every person with aspirations of being a professional athlete. You are simply the best.

In these days of greed and avarice, it is very rarely we, as sports fans, get to witness a genuine superstar. An athelete of true passion and dedication to his craft, an athelete of extraordinary talent and committment, but yet a man of class, conviction, charity, humility and loyalty. There is no man more worthy of a World Series ring. I am sorry that you were unable to do so as a Blue Jay but strongly desire for you to do so as as Philly. Very few athletes are selected for their respective Halls of Fame. Even fewer that when (not if) elected will immediately make the Hall of Fame a classier place. You will be such an athelete.

The Jays are my team but I am now, and will forever be, a Roy Halladay fan.
