Happy New Years to you & you’re family DOC !!!
I wish you could have stayed a Blue Jay for life but things happen for a reason. Maybe you can come back to the Jays when your 4-5 year contract ends with the Phillies.
One can only hope….
Happy news years Doc. You are still in our hearts. Check back for valentines day and victorias day I’ll send you a message of blessings then too
I guess this is the only the Phillies get redemption for the 1993 World Series.
Have a great one, Doc! You earned it.
We will miss you a lot in T.O. Roy!!
Thanks for all the memories you bring us !!
Best of Luck in Philly
Roy,
I was a Phillies fan before, and an evan bigger one now. You symbolized the final ray of hope in a once great club. I dread the next few years for the Blue Jays, but will relish in watching you put a ring on every finger with the mighty Phils.
GO PHILS GO
Go back to Toronto. There’s only room for one ace on this ball club.
But while you’re here, check out Liberty Place for your new apartment and sign up for Comcast once you’re settled in. And also eat some Peanut Chews. Thanks.
Roy;
Thanks for all the hard work you did here in Toronto. I like many fans will miss you. I’ll be routing for Philly, right now, cause the Jays, are destined for last place.
Remember, when you “do” get in the Hall, make sure you wear a Blue Jays cap.
All the best in Philly, and I do hope you get your ring. You deserve it.
Roy you were the greatest athlete this city has ever seen and on top of that you always carried yourself with class. I hope you know the whole city supports you and wishes you well in Philly.
I have seen you pitch live, many a times and it was always a sight to see.
Hopefully you will pitch against the Jays this coming season when you guys are in town.
All the best and maybe you can retire with us one day.
Doc….
The Best There Was…
The Best There Is…….
The Best There Ever Will Be….. Go Philies Go!!!
The Jays will MISS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mr. Halladay, You were the greatest Blue Jay to ever don the uniform. You stayed with us even when you didn’t have to. Being a toronto fan is not easy, you made it worth it… I am a Halladay fan for life
Roy as a resident of the City of Brotherly Love: welcome. As a fan of the Blue Jays: please say it ain’t so Doc. Thanks for all the great sports memories over the past decade and 2 years. You certainly were the best player, in my opinion, to put on the Blue Jays uniform.
You were my hero. Hope you win a ring soon.
Who are the Blue Jays? I am from Oakville but have never heard of this team? It seems no one in Canada supports them.
Maybe they should move. Arkansas Blue Jays anyone?
Why are we thanking you for doing your job? We only had to pay you 108 Million over the last few years. I mean, shouldn’t you be down on your knees thanking us? I gave away 2,000 a year of my 50,000 a year salary for Blue Jays tickets.
You should be thanking me for not quitting on you, like you did on us. You took your 108 million and left.
thanks Roy will miss you lot’s but I like the rest of the people on here really hope that you get that ring that you deserve. I also had the privilege of meeting you in 2006 at the jays luncheon you are a really great human being and hope you come back to the jays when your contract end with the Phills also I hope that you enter the Hall Of Fame with the jays hat on your head.
One of your BIGGEST fans David Struyk (AKA Doc4Life)
I guess I have to start following the Phillies now,
thanks for all the memories Doc!! even out here I’ve managed to still follow your career,
please wear the Blue Jays hat during you’re eventual Hall of Fame induction!
